CHICHÉN ITZÁ

Chichén Itzá, known as the capital of the Maya Empire, which from the year 2007 was declared one of the new 7 wonders of the world, is located just 2 hours from the beautiful tourist area of Cancun..

You will have the opportunity to appreciate the majestic Kukulcán Pyramid and the "pok-ta-pok" or Mayan ball game. An expert guide will let you know the wonderful past of the Maya Culture.

You can also visit the "Ik Kil", a beautiful cenote (sinkhole) where your companions can swim in its refreshing, crystal-clear waters. This route will be completed with the arrival to the colonial city of Valladolid, where you can appreciate the Spanish influence in its buildings.

  • The most advisable is to leave at 7: 00 a.m. to Chichen Itza, to avoid the
hot & sunny hours, as well as the large number of visitors in the area, but
of course you can choose your departure time.
  • Due to the heat, bring fresh clothes and use sunscreen, comfortable
shoes and a cap or hat.
  • Take swimsuit to plunge in the cenote (for those who can do so).
  • Bring extra money to buy handicrafts & souvenirs.
